Timog Kutang Bato Lodge, U.D. instituted on March 2, 2024.

Institution ceremony was held at Cinco Ninas Hotel and Inland Resort in Koronadal City, South Cotabato; presided over by Grand Master Ruel Saonoy. Appointed principal officers are Bro. MWB Lamberto Binuncal, Worshipful Master; WB Dennis Eusebio, Senior Warden; WB. Romel Flores, Junior Warden; Bro. Mark Menguita, Secretary; WB. Sherwin Foronda, Treasurer and WB Berlln Flores, Auditor.

IGLPI joins the City of Koronadal, South Cotabato in celebrating the 125th anniversary of Philippine Independence

IGLPI, through the invitation of City Mayor Hon. Eliordo Ogena was the special guest of the City of Koronadal in its celebration of the 125th anniversary of Philippine independence on June 12, 2023.

The celebration started with a civic parade followed by the presentation and raising of and Philippine flag by the brethren and city officials. The “Tribute to the Flag” was rendered by VW Rowel Pallera.

Keynote speaker was MWB Nicolas Ricafrente, Past Grand Master.

The Grand Lodge was represented by MW Apolonio Toledo, Grand Master; RW Ruel Saonoy, Deputy Grand Master; MWB Lamberto Binuncal, PGM, Grand Secretary and Past Grand Masters Nicolas Ricafrente, and Rae Jarder. The Grand Lodge Inspectorate was represented by Past Grand Inspectors General VW Reynaldo Manipis and Rowel Pallera. Masonic Disrict 1 and 2 were represented by VW Jaime Patani, Jr, and VW Rico Sierra, District Grand Supervisors. They were joined by a delegation of brethren from Pintong Bato Lodge No 9 headed by WM Romel Flores; and the Ladies of IGLPI Pintong Bato Chapter.

IGLPI Masons joined the city of Malolos, Bulacan in the celebration of the 116th anniversary of the inauguration of the First Philippine Republic on January 23, 2015. Grandmaster Ruben Romanes, led grand officers and member lodges including Barasoain Lodge Number 12 of Malolos in the commemoration event. General Emilio Aguinaldo, first president of the republic, Apolinario Mabini head of his cabinet, other members of the cabinet and almost half of the delegates to the Malolos congress that drafted the constitution were members of various lodges of the Gran Oriente Espanol in the Philippines. The Philippine republic, the first in Asia was inaugurated in 1899, less than a year after the declaration independence in Kawit, Cavite on June 12, 1898.

9th Annual Grand Assembly

The 9th IGLPI Annual Grand Assembly was held from November 27 to 29, 2014 at Victoriaville Clubhouse in Bacoor City, Cavite. It started with a seminar on Leadership and Lodge Management, followed by a planning workshop for lodge officers. Parallel to this was the deliberation of the Panel of Peers and the Council of Elders for qualified nominees for the position of Junior Grand Warden. In the plenary session held the following day November 28, the assembly ratified a measure adopted from the resolutions submitted by Bagong Ilaw Lodge No 6 and passed by the Legislative Council regarding the management of electronic media by lodges. The legislation mandates the official appointment of a Web Administrator and its classification as a special appointive position in the lodge; the creation of a Webmasters Bureau to oversee media management and the formulation of protocol, regulatory measures and code of conduct in the use of social media for members. The annual budget was also approved.

The Installed Masters’ degree was conferred in the morning of November 29. Election and installation of grand officers was held in the afternoon. Elected were MW Ruben Romanes, Grand Master; RW Reynaldo Generillo, Deputy Grand Master; RW Bayani Leoncio, Senior Grand Warden; RW Rae Jarder, Junior Grand Warden; MWB Amorico Alvarez, Grand Secretary; RW Reuben Vidallon, Grand Treasurer and RW Venancio Cuvin, Grand Auditor, pro-tem, pending an election and installation of a new lodge Secretary for his lodge. They were installed by MWB Javier del Rosario, immediate Past Grand Master with VW Fernando Calica as Installing Grand Marshal. A past Grand Master’s ring was presented to MWB Javier del Rosario, immediate Past Grand Master by MWB Nicolas Ricafrente, PGM.

The Grand Master’s night was highlighted by the Ceremony of Seven Toasts presided over by RW Rae Jarder, Junior Grand Warden and an entertainment program presented by the Ladies of IGLPI.
